Canadian Experience Class and Immigration Law Help
Immigration Simplified
In 2008, the Federal government created the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) immigration category, which allows foreign students of Canadian colleges and universities and holders of Canadian work permits, preferential eligibility for permanent residency if they meet certain criteria, which includes:
- Graduation from a Canadian college or University program, or at least two years at a government funded Canadian school
- At least one year of work experience in Canada in a professional, managerial or skilled worker occupation (Skill level A, B or 0)
- Language ability appropriate for their occupation level
In addition, holders of Canadian Work Permits who have been legally working in Canada in a Skill Level O, A or B occupation for at least two years, are eligible to apply under this immigration category.
Our legal team has handled numerous Canadian Experience Class cases since the inception of this immigration category. If you need legal help regarding obtaining permanent resident status under the Canadian Experience Class, Pace Law Firm can provide experienced help.
