CAIPS and FOSS Reports
Canadian Immigration offices use two electronic systems when processing visa applications. The Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System (CAIPS) is Citizenship and Immigration Canada's automated system for processing immigration applications from applicants outside Canada.
The Field Operations Support System (FOSS) is the domestic equivalent of CAIPS and is used for processing applications for immigration from inside Canada.
Pace Law Firm can access the information contained in both systems, and from extensive experience with them, we understand the best way to obtain the best results.
The Government of Canada uses CAIPS and FOSS to verify and qualify all immigration applications including:
- Permanent resident visas
- Visitor visas (temporary resident visas)
- Work permits
- Study permits
- Refugee, Humanitarian and Compassionate applications
- Citizenship applications
- All other immigration related processes
CAIPS and FOSS hold valuable information on the processing of your Canadian temporary or permanent residence application that is NOT available through "e-Client" registration.
