After graduating from the Faculty of Law, Mr Oy began his career as a lawyer in 1975 and worked for 9 years with Akbank, one of the largest private banks in Turkey. He continued his banking career at Interbank as assistant general manager responsible for legal and distressed loan departments. Subsequently, he accepted a position as board member of the Bank's holding company as well as other financial institutions. In 1999, he established an independent law & consultancy firm, where he continues to act as managing partner.
