Mr. Gerry Weiner brings a wealth of political and business experience to Pace Law Firm, earned through a distinguished political career at the highest levels of the Federal Government and Executive level involvement in the business world.

Over a period of nearly twenty years, Mr. Weiner was a parliamentary representative of five governments and held two appointments as a Senior Minister of the Government of Canada. His political career has allowed him to develop a highly valuable network of contacts both in Canada and abroad, which can be called upon to assist with the establishment of a business and/or residence in Canada.

Mr. Weiner's political career is noted for many Canadian Federal Government Cabinet appointments, including:

• Minister of Immigration
• Minister of Multiculturalism and Citizenship
• Secretary of State
• Parliamentary Secretary to External Affairs
• Member of the Planning and Priority Committee of Cabinet

While Immigration Minister, Mr. Weiner created the Immigrant Investor Program in 1986, a highly successful program with significant benefits accruing to Canada's economy that continue to be realized today.
