After 24 years of service in the Departments of Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Foreign Affairs and International Trade, in the positions of both Visa Officer and Canadian Consul, James Metcalfe established his own immigration consulting firm in Toronto in 1993. For the past 11 years, Jim has assisted thousands of persons to immigrate and live, work and study in Canada, and brings a lifetime of experience to Pace Law Firm.

Jim has traveled extensively in order to assist his clients including the countries of Europe, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East and Asia. His expertise and knowledge of Immigration laws and procedures as it relates to persons both inside and outside Canada, allows Jim to analyze issues and problems quickly, and to recommend effective and efficient solutions.

James is supported by a dynamic team of assistants and draws on the resources of the other 50 members of Pace Law Firm to assist his clients.
