Work Permits
Work Permits are for persons who wish to work temporarily in Canada including:
persons whose employers have received a labour market opinion from Service Canada in Canada for a foreign worker, or
persons who may be exempt from this procedure under Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations. For example, under NAFTA, professionals who are US or Mexican citizens, may be exempt from having their job offer approved.
