PERMANENT RESIDENT VISAS - HUMANITARIAN & COMPASSIONATE
Humanitarian and Compassionate Cases
In some cases where a potential immigrant to Canada does not comply with the selection criteria in one of the main categories, it may still be possible to be approved when exceptional circumstances exist which warrant the waiving of normal selection criteria.
To qualify for an exemption based on Humanitarian and Compassionate (H&C) grounds, you must prove that your situation is one of extreme hardship which is unusual, excessive, or undeserved and the result of circumstances beyond your control. An application may be made from within Canada or submitted from outside the country.
Contact us and we will inform you if your circumstances are such that you may reasonably expect to be accepted as a permanent resident of Canada within the Humanitarian and Compassionate class of immigrants.
